Dr. John K. Tarus is currently the Vice President of Internet Society, Kenya Chapter. The Vice President is the principal assistant to the Chapter President whose role is to perform any duties of the President in his/her absence. Joel Okomoli

Chair of Finance and Budget Committee

Joel Okomoli is the head of finance and budget committee at the Internet Society Kenya Chapter and a Member of Outreach and Engagement Committee of ICANN. An experienced Data Manager with interest in the application of Information and Communication Technology in business operations, monitoring, evaluation and learning, systems development, audit, data management and analysis. He is passionate in research, training, modelling, administration and capacity building. He has technical competencies in Accounting (QuickBooks), Statistics (SPSS) and Network Deployment among other skills. A retired Finance Officer / Treasurer for ISOC Kenya (2016 – 2023), Joel continues to support chapter initiatives towards business development, community outreach and resource mobilization.
