Mr Ngumi is a Degree holder with Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology, Diploma in HIV/AIDS and currently undertaking Masters Degree in Project Planning and Management. He is experienced in policy review especially Youth Policy, Advocacy on Adolescent and Youth Sexual Reproductive Health, HIV/AIDS, Budget formulation and review, Governance and devolution process. He is also experienced in running major projects including HIV/AIDS and health, education, peace building, governance and devolution and human rights, strategic planning and development. He has also undertaken several research projects covering health, human development, poverty reduction, human rights and governance.

He is also experienced in strategic development in the development of plans for several organizations including Young Professionals for Development (YPD), Men for Gender Equality Now (MEGEN)/FEMNET, National Coalition of Human Rights Defenders Kenya (NCHRDK), Elimu Yetu Coalition (EYC), Machakos County Civil Society Network (MCCN), Values and Life Skills (VALI), Kenya Consortium for AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (KECOFATUMA) etc. He is a youth development expert. He has been empowering the youth on employability skills covering attachment, internships, volunteering and job placement programme where he has supported youths in the last fifteen (25) years. He has also focused on Entrepreneurship and Technical and Vocational Education Training (TVET) through organizing Skills Show. He has empowered youths with knowledge information and technical skills on TVET courses and Entrepreneurship for Employment and Job creation. He has been trained on digital literacy by Google an have trained over 10,000 youths in the last 7 years interlinked with entrepreneurship, employment and self-employment, business development etc. My interest in ISOC is to empower the youth in ICT and Digital empowerment of the youth.
